  8. Our digital maps consist of base map, topographic map, cadastral map etc. According to the different digital maps, the different types of elements are stored in the different layers.

  10. Users can get more information about the relief of Macau through CD-ROM and maps which are issued by DSCC.

  12. Our digital spatial data are not only adopted by Macau Government, but also by non-profit and profit users.

  14. The responsibility of DSCC is to develop and maintain the coordinate system. The establishment of our digital spatial data refer to the coordinate system.

    The requests for Topographic and Cadastral Maps, that due to their characteristics need additional editing, have the fees calculation based on a fixed amount of MOP$220.00 (two hundred and twenty patacas) per hour of work, besides the number of copies requested.

    b) Digital Cartography:

    Price for Macao maps in CD-ROM (DGN and DWG format) MOP$3500.00.

    Price for Macao maps in floppy disk, partial maps MOP$600.00.

    c) Aerial Photographs:

    Price for aerial photographs of Macao (1980, 1988 and 1993 editions), MOP$220.00 per photo (size 24x24 cm).

    d) Copies of RGCU (Urban Construction General Regulation) maps.

    Price for each copy is MOP$50.00.

    The public domain data sets are only available to government departments, non-profit organisations and education.

    According to Macao government law, Decreto-Lei n.° 3/94/M, of January 1994, and Urban Construction General Regulation(RGCU), Decreto-Lei n.° 79/85/M, August 1985. The DSCC responded to establish local mapping.

  28. According to the General Castelo Branco? network in 1907 and the report of "REPARTIÇÃO TÉCNICA DAS OBRAS DE MACAU" in 1943-45, the Macau Military established a network which included Macau, Taipa and Coloane in 1955.

    The station of ?"Monte da Barra" and ?"Coloane Alto" were named "Doppler station no.31386" and "Doppler station no.31397". The two Doppler stations were connected with Hong Kong?station. In 1986, "Monte da Barra" and "Coloane Alto" were transformed to Laplace stations by "CENTRO DE GEODESIA DO INSTITUTO DE INVESTIGAÇÃO CENTÍFICA E TROPICAL DE PORTUGAL" with astronomic observations.
