Spatial Odyssey provides links to the web sites of most major journals of interest to GIS researchers. Journals follow different policies in their on-line offerings. Check each journal to determine whether nothing, contents, abstracts or full text are available to non-subscribers and whether on-line subscriptions are possible. By example, the current issue of the URISA Journal is available on-line to non-subscribers and on-line past issues are available to any current member of the organization.
Spatial Odyssey also provides access to the tables of contents of many GIS conference proceedings since 1991 and provides information about the library abstracting and indexing services within which many journals of interest to GIS researchers are indexed.
