Similarity
We developed a computational method to compare sets of configurations for
topological similarity.
It is based on four dynamic operators that are defined to implement
a gradual change between the conceptual neighborhoods of the 4-intersection:
- Adding/removing a meet component
- Changing a meet component to/from an overlap component
Critical aspect: The number of
components in an intersection.
The dynamic operators provide a means to measure topological
similarity.
