GIS Literature
An increasing body of literature is being published about
geographic databases and geographic information systems.
The field is interdisciplinary: geography, engineering,
archaeology, planning, cognitive science, linguistics, mathematics,
economics, etc.).
Since the field is fairly young, the primary research contributions
appear first in conference proceedings, some of them later in
journals.
