Land Records Offices in the United States

Land records offices in the U.S. are distributed among over 3000 counties and many more municipalities.  They are often staffed by non-technical people.  Links are provided to over 200 such offices that have made substantial portions of their government land records available online. (A work in progress from material originally gathered by Nancy von Meyer).
